Dezember 1951 in Montreux. Am 5. Oktober 1985 legte er die ewige Profess ab. Die Priesterweihe erfolgte am 31. M\u00e4rz 1990.<\/p>\n<p>Ab 1990 war er Vikar in Aigle VD, bevor er 1992 als Pfarrer nach Bex VD wechselte. Gleichzeitig war er Mitarbeiter am Westschweizer Zentrum f\u00fcr Liturgie und Seelsorge \u00abLa Pelouse\u00bb in Bex. 2006 folgte die Ernennung zum Liturgieverantwortlichen und etwas sp\u00e4ter jene zum Rektor der Basilika von Saint-Maurice. Gleichzeitig nahm er sein Amt als Pfarrer in Bex weiterhin wahr, bis er 2009 zum Prior ernannt wurde. Als Prior war er die rechte Hand des vormaligen Abtes Joseph Roduit.<\/p>\n<p>Er wurde von den Chorherren am 10. April 2015 zum 95. Abt gew\u00e4hlt. Der Papst hat die Wahl am 22. Mai best\u00e4tigt. Jean Scarcella folgt am 1.
